Who We Are
We are a group of medical students in Houston, TX who are interested in ophthalmology and improving the lives of people living with low vision.
We created this website because we noticed a deficit in practical, accessible, local resources for people with low vision. Many individuals we interacted with expressed a desire for a central source of information, as well as a way to hear about others’ experiences with low-vision.
We hope to serve as a special source of support for those who are new members of the low-vision community, as well as for providers seeking a new perspective on their patients.
We are grateful for the support of the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, which makes this project possible.
